Ok, with the help of my travel companion Terry's daughter Michelle, I have set up a blog that other people can actually see. My previous attempt was a failure, as I was the only one who could see it. Ha. We don't actually leave until April 29, but will be posting periodically to get some practice at this blogging thing.

My inspiration is a computer game and TV show called Where in the World is Carmen San Diego. It was created partially in response to the results of a National Geographic survey that indicated Americans had alarmingly little knowledge of geography. I hope this little blog invites your curiosity. Follow me and my travel buddy Terry Backus as we travel through Europe over the next year in search of new places, new faces, wine and song.
