Llangollen

Drove up the coast and inland skirting Snowdonia National Park.  Beautiful country.
We stopped at a little roadside craft center and cafe for a little lunch, and arrived in Llangollen about 2:00 pm.  Our accommodation is called Geufron Hall (a Boo tique B&B).  The directions to get here were as follows:  When you come into town, cross the river and turn right.  Then turn immediately left at the taxidermy shop and go up the hill until the yellow lines on the road end.  Make a sharp 260 turn right and follow the one lane road to the B&B.  Had to stop a couple of times til the sheep moved out of the driveway.
Wow though the view is gorgeous. This is what you see from our bedroom windows and the guest conservatory.
Once we unloaded, Carlton, our host served us tea and Welsh cakes.
His wife Beth had to go pick up their son at school.  We walked down the hill to town for dinner at the "Corn Mill" a pub on the river Dee,  which used to be an actual mill.  Had some of the best macaroni and Cheese I have ever eaten.  Look at that chunk of bread.
YUM!

Oh I forgot, right across the street from the Mill was a Welsh Craft shop where I discovered my first "Red Hat". I am only supposed to get a picture, but I really liked the hat so it is now mine forever.
